2020 to 2030 – The Decade of Action

Greetings to All,

Since 2017, Osel Group has been inducted into United Nations Global Compact. Out of United Nations 17 sustainable growth. Osel Group has subscribe to and have been supportive 3 out of the 17 Sustainable Developmental Goals; Sustainable Developmental Goal number 1 – No poverty, Sustainable Developmental Goal number 3 – Good Health & Well Being and Sustainable Developmental Goal number 4 – Quality Education.

The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 Goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve them all by 2030. With only ten years left to reach the Sustainable Development Goals, we need to accelerate from decades of ambition to a Decade of Action. Most importantly, this is the decade in which humanity will either succeed or fail in delivering on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Failure cannot be an option.

The Decade of Action requires all companies to take a deep look at where we are falling short and set industry-specific goals, standards and execution plans. This is how we will contribute to the transformation needed. The year 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Global Compact and the fifth year since the launch of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The UN Global Compact and DNV GL, an independent provider of sustainability and risk management services, have worked together to assess the progress made by the UN Global Compact business participants to date and looked ahead to what systemic changes are needed to reach the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

2020 – 2030 will be the decade of action.
