On 30th October 2018, Dr Kris See, founder of Osel Group was awarded as one of the Most Influential Sustainable Entrepreneur by Asia Pacific Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Council. The award ceremony was supported by United Nation (UN), which was held in conjunction with The Leadership Forum To Advance The UN Sustainable Development Goals Among Small-To-Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Winning the award indicates the recognition of Osel Group’s corporate strategies, which are aligning with the Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs) of United Nation. Osel Group’s model is inspired and conceptualized from a synthesis of diverse literature, such as sustainable education, transformative learning theories, placed-based learning, indigenous learning approaches, experiential learning, eco-literacy, curriculum theory and conceptual change in science classes. To quote the inspiration of Osel Group: “Connecting Hearts, Empowering Minds, Sustaining Humanity”- many local students and Nepalese children are currently pursuing their educational goals, supported by Osel Group.

In addition to that, Osel Group has officially become a member of United Nation Global Compact (UNGC) Network Malaysia. UNGC is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Together with UNGC, Osel Group is getting involved in creating a sustainable and inclusive global economy that delivers lasting benefits to people, communities and markets.
